The
USFS demonstration from the previous year at the Gladie Outpost's Archaeological
Weekend told us what to do. John and Paul first heat rocks in the Firering Cut Selected Meat and wrap in Magnolia Leafs Placing the Hot Rocks at the Bottom of a 3 foot deep hole - - Place the Wrapped Meat on top of the Rocks Cover the hole back up - - this works well with the sandy ground along the RRG streams Two hours later remove, then unwrap the cooked, moist and tender meat This procedure allows you to do other things while dinner is cooking on its own. |
