We bring high praise for the Manager of Slade, Kentucky's
SUBWAY for displaying just that! Our 33rd Annual Venture
into Red River Gorge developed an issue early in the
week-long event. This situation threatened to impact
our stay to a depressing degree . . . until SUBWAY's
Greg Marcum became aware of our plight.
We will not go into greater detail but needless to say
our trip was saved thanks to the most generous
nature of Mr. Marcum and his employees.
The 30+ RRS Members present were deeply grateful
and will remain so for his actions. It was always a habit of
ours to frequent the SUBWAY at Slade, now it has a deeper
meaning. We want to let everyone know that when you
are enjoying a terrific meal at SUBWAY, behind the doors
it is being operated by someone with a Very Big Heart.
