2.   A Regulation Game is 7 Innings unless:
      a) The Home Team is ahead after 6 1/2 Innings
      b) It is Called due to Natural causes after either 5 complete Innings or 4 1/2 Innings if the Home Team is leading.
      c) The Game may extend to Extra Innings if both sides agree.
3.   There will be a 10 Run per Inning per Team Maximum.
4.   Infield Players must have established positions within the Infield before the Ball is struck by a Female Batter. The Edge of the
Infield Grass may be used to determine proper positioning or the Umpire’s Judgment may prevail in what he/she feels is an
      appropriate defensive location.
5.  Both Teams shall remain in the Dugouts and Behind the Protective Fence while the Game is underway. Stepping out of either Dugout
moving behind the Batting Cage for whatever purpose is allowed. Exceptions on the Playing Field include:
      a) Umpire(s) b) Batters c) Defensive Players d) 1st & 3rd Base Coaches e) Shagger(s) … Team Players designated to retrieve Bats
just used during the Previous “at Bat”.
6.  Instead of a Seventh Inning Stretch, as in MLB Baseball, a Fifth Inning Stretch may be Observed.
7.  METAL CLEATS ARE NOT ALLOWED. These can cause unintentional injury to others.
BATTING
1. Batting Orders shall be Distributed evenly between Genders for as long as possible before the majority gender fills out the latter
      part of the Batting order.

Example of an ideal, acceptable batting line-up would be:
1. SCOTT
2. CRAIG
3. GIRL SPOT
4. CHARLES
5. JOHN “ROCKETMAN” ROBERTSON
6. GIRL SPOT
7. JASON
8. PAUL
9. GIRL SPOT
10. KYLE
11. MAD MOUNTAIN MIKE
12. GIRL SPOT

10 feet into the air and be caught to qualify as an Out.)
TEAM SELECTION
1.   Teams Shall be Chosen at Random before each Contest unless previously arranged beforehand.
2.   Each Female Player Shall draw from a container. Her selection will determine which Dugout to Report to. Unless previously arranged.
3.   Each Male Player Shall draw from a container. His selection will determine which Dugout to Report to. Unless previously arranged.
4.   SPECIAL NOTE: Sometimes the luck of the draw may seem, in the Umpire’s Judgment, to be too “One-Sided”. He/She may order
another Round of Selections upon further Review and perhaps consulting with both Teams.
5.   Following Team Selection, Team Managers shall be chosen and a Batting Order arrived at as soon as possible.
UMPIRES
1.   One Umpire is acceptable for Game Play. His/Her decisions behind the Plate shall cover The Entire Field.
2.   If an Umpire is not present, an individual who is not a member of either of the opposing teams and who is mutually agreed
upon by the Team Managers will act as Umpire. If such an individual is not present, one member of each team will act as Umpire,
calling Balls and Strikes for their own Batters.
3.   The Umpire's decisions are final. However, protests may be made by Managers only.
4.  Umpire will determine if the field is playable.
5.   Abuse or harassment of the Umpire is entirely inappropriate and runs counter to the spirit of the league. Individuals who engage
in such conduct will be asked to leave the League. Abusive Language and UnSportsmanlike Conduct shall be unacceptable.
6.   The Umpire will determine when the play is dead with the Ball in the Infield when a Timeout is to be granted.
GAME CONTACT & MISCELLANEOUS
1.    Physical Contact along the Basepaths and Homeplate is discouraged.
2.    Sliding IS ALLOWED. However everyone should avoid Collisions at all times.
3.    The fielder must give the runner a clear path to the Base unless the fielder is actively involved in the Play. If disputed,
        Umpire's decision is final.
4.    NO FAKE TAGS. At any base, if there is no play, the fielder must get out of the runner's way.
5.    To avoid Collisions at Homeplate, if the Catcher is in the process of Fielding the Ball for a play at the plate. His/Her objective
shall be to touch the plate … NOT TO TAG THE RUNNER. The Runners objective, if the plate is covered by the Catcher, is to run
parallel to homeplate as quickly as possible. IT IS NOT REQUIRED THAT THE BASE BE TOUCHED FOR THE RUNNER TO BE CONSIDERED
SAFE. Umpire’s Call shall determine whether the Runner would have beaten the Ball to the Spot in time.
6.    There is NO REQUIREMENT as to where Men or Women must be positioned while in the Field. ASA Rule 4,IC.6. Does Not Apply.
7.    Substitutions, for whatever reason, if possible should be made Male-to-Male, Female-to-Female. Further they should be selected
from the bottom of the Batting Order at that particular Inning in an attempt to prevent confusion in the Batting Order. Or the
Last Male to make an Out or Last Female to make an Out.
8.   During Women’s at Bat, Pitchers are to be instructed to pitch and pitch only.
9.   During Women’s at Bat, Pitchers must make every effort to get out of the way of any batted ball in play.
10. During Women’s at Bat, Pitchers are not obligated to catch a ball thrown from the Outfield unless the play is clearly over and the
       Runners have stopped forward motion.
11. During Women’s at Bat, Pitchers DO NOT defensively cover other bases for shifting Infielders during play.
12. During Women’s at Bat, As long as the Runners are advancing, the ball is still live and may not be returned to the Pitcher until the
       Play is clearly over.
13. Shifting of Defensive Player Positions within any particular Inning based on the ability of the Batter is PROHIBITED.
Example: 1st Baseman switches with Right Fielder because “Jolten Joe” is at Bat.
14. Throwing of Bats is Discouraged. Umpire(s) will continue to remind Batters to drop the Bat safely after it’s use in the hopes that
        it will soon become habit.
15. Runners may advance only One Base during overthrows that land out of play. If Overthrow remains still in play, Runners may
       advance at their own risk.
