Pluto
has lost its seven-decade status as the ninth
and outermost planet of the Solar System, the
world's top astronomical body decided on 08-24-06,
in a ruling that will rewrite schoolbooks and reshape

"The
eight planets are Mercury, Earth, Venus, Mars,

NASA's
STARDUST space probe was designed to
capture the first samples of comet dust, bringing
them back to Earth. NASA says the five-meter-long
STARDUST came within 300 kilometers of the Comet
Wild-2, a ball of ice and rock measuring more than five kilometers
in diameter.
Passing each other at a
relative speed of 21,960 kilometers per hour.
